I bought this project 2008 Honda Ridgeline a couple years ago. It was a mad scramble to get a nipple on there before the already mixed bottle started to cure LOL.Īs someone who gives our RAPTOR customers advice daily from ordering to installing it, I had to find out for my self first hand rather than give advice on what I have been taught over the past 3 years! I actually forgot to set up the gun from the kit with a nipple for my airline. I would advise a new user to actually pretend to go through the motions of spraying their vehicle BEFORE ever mixing the first bottle. I did keep the Raptor Liner in the house where it was 72, so at least it wasn’t that cold itself. Certainly not ideal, but it was the weather I had to work with LOL. It was shot in my homemade paint booth (draped plastic sheets from Home Depot around my patio) at a temp of about 60F, and the temps got down into the 40s or 50s at night. I used tintable Raptor Liner with Grey tint for the top and black for the trim and bumpers.Īs for advice, I waited approximately 24 hours for it to dry before taping up for the second color. I’m not a painter, but the Raptor Liner went on great! I got the truck back and fixed it myself. The truck was totaled by insurance after a drunk driver pulled out in front of me. I just finished lining my Excursion and I am very happy with the results.
